Antique Pygmy Made in France Photographers Handheld Light Generator Device. This device could have been used by lots of professions or individuals. I've listed it under photography because this was part of a photographers estate. This is really a very interesting handheld device that uses a manual static electricity generator to emit a short burst of light. It has a hand plunger which is designed to work when it's depressed. However, it needs to be taken apart and serviced because the plunger is frozen in place and doesn't work.  It is approximately 3 and 1/2 by 3 by 1 in. It has light wear and aging with a few cosmetic scratches and a small amount of residue.
