    Description

    This is a rare BILL GRAHAM PRESENTS "JOINED" DOUBLE handbill/postcard mailer (#BG131-PC & BG132-HB) from concerts at FILLMORE WEST in San Francisco, Ca. There were FAR fewer of these printed than either individual handbill. The top design is ERIC BURDON & THE ANIMALS, BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS, CHAMBERS BROTHERS & The CHARLATANS and the lower design is IRON BUTTERFLY, SANTANA, CANNED HEAT & BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND. The mailer is in excellent shape even though it has been folded between the two designs. Very little general wear and NO PIN HOLES! Designs are by LEE CONKLIN. This double-sized postcard mailer was printed once before the concert and measures 4 5/8" x 14". This will look AWESOME in a frame!
    Promoters created handbill versions of many of their posters and used them as handouts and fliers to promote upcoming shows. These handbills represent an important element of music history because they are unique marketing tools that are still used today. Another chance to snag a piece of music history.
