    Description

Listed is a beautiful hand-forged aluminum tray dating back to the 1930s and purchased in the Boston, Massachusetts area late in that decade. No manufacturer's mark is present on the tray and the only marking is "Hand Forged" stamped on the bottom side.
This tray is approximately 18-5/8 inches in overall diameter x 2 inches deep. The aluminum sheet is just under 1/8 of an inch thick and the round bar forming the outer diameter is 7/16 of an inch thick.
The scene on the tray shows a hunter in traditional duck hunting attire of the period holding a shotgun and receiving a duck from his retriever. He and the dog are in cattail growth and behind them are mountains and a windmill.
Flying around the them are ducks and geese. All of the images are clear and fundamentally without wear.
