Vintage Fiberboard Shipping Box w/ Straps & Plastic Film Reel Spool 9.25" Cool

Description

Very cool vintage brown fiberboard box, measuring 10" square & 1" tall.  Has metal corners on both top & bottom of box.  Has 2 straps with metal buckles & end pieces to hold box together.  Top has a metal frame around the address area.  Also has remnants of 2 labels, an "Insured" sticker, & 2 postage stamps.  The stamps are a John Dewey 30 cent stamp & a Thomas Paine 40 cent stamp. Inside is a plastic film reel about 9 1/4" in diameter, from the Plastic Reel Corp. of America.  The reel is full of colored film.  The film appears to be a home movie with a little girl & a woman, maybe her mother.  I only unrolled a little of the film.  I have no way to play it.  Reel is in good condition with no cracks.  Great décor items!
